How to become a C.R.I

Many people take their love of Bob Ross painting to the ultimate level. They become Bob Ross Instructors. There are three disciplines that you can become qualified in. LANDSCAPE, FLORAL and WILDLIFE. There are currently over two hundred CRIs in the British Isles. Some paint for their own pleasure. Others set up their own business and start teaching the Bob Ross way of painting in their own locality.

To become a Bob Ross Instuctor, the student has to pass three levels in each discipline. Level 1 is held in the spring, level 2 in the summer, and level 3 (the final level) is in the autumn. Anyone can enroll to become an instructor, beginners are welcome as full training is given. We do recommend however that you put in plenty of practice between levels, as they do get progressively harder.

The majority of newly qualified CRIs leave the hotel with a distinct sense of accomplishment and pride in what they have achieved and can't wait to start teaching. Plenty of CRIs have enjoyed themselves so much, they have come back the following year to complete another course.
